Features

High Accuracy and Stability

The Polwax CD50 CO2 Transmitter is engineered for environments where precision and reliability are non-negotiable. It incorporates a high-precision photodiode sensor and an advanced gas-permeable membrane that ensures only the target gas—carbon dioxide—enters the sensing chamber. This design minimizes cross-sensitivity to other gases and provides accurate, repeatable measurements in real-time. With a measurement resolution of 1 ppm and accuracy of ±(50 ppm + 3–5% of full scale), CD50 is ideal for critical applications such as greenhouse CO₂ control, HVAC optimization, and industrial safety.

Wide Measuring Range

The Polwax CD50 is designed with a versatile measuring range to meet the demands of various environments, from sensitive indoor spaces to complex industrial zones. With three configurable detection ranges—0–2000 ppm, 0–5000 ppm, and 0–10,000 ppm—this CO₂ transmitter adapts easily to the specific needs of your application. For indoor air quality (IAQ) in offices, classrooms, hospitals, and other public spaces, the 0–2000 ppm range provides accurate tracking of ventilation effectiveness and occupant safety. In greenhouses and agricultural environments, the 0–5000 ppm range supports CO₂ enrichment strategies.

User-Friendly Configuration

The Polwax CD50 is built not just for performance, but for ease of use right out of the box. Its user-friendly configuration ensures that installation, setup, and calibration are quick and hassle-free—even for first-time users or system integrators working across multiple units. Thanks to its plug-and-play design, CD50 can be easily installed on a wall or pole using standard mounting brackets. Once installed, the device offers intuitive configuration options via RS-485 Modbus RTU communication, allowing users to quickly adjust settings such as measurement range, output signal type, and response time to match the application’s.
